Turducken was rather good. The duck was fatty though, and the stuffing tasted a bit like...

I loved it. (:

I volunteeer to be part of the cooking team next Turducken. It was super times, and I'd like to be part of the preparations next time - my culinary skills would surely be put to good use on such a splendiferous feast. :)

My Turducken experience:

So B-Ho and Shane picked me up from work on Sunday, and after a short stop at Sobeys to get Hutson and supplies, we where off to Hutson's.

We immediately started to defrost the duck, a process that would take many hours. I had originally planned to go to school on monday, then come out with Shane, while B-Ho and Hutson did all the work. But B-Ho's parents came home early, and said that he couldn't sleep over.

This threw a wrench of the monkey variety into the plans, because cooking would have to start early, and there was no way Hutson could do it all by his lonesome.

It was then that I made a decision.

I decided to sacrifice my education, for the good of the land!

I called my dad and asked him if I could skip school to cook. He was drunk, so he gave me the go ahead. I got to bed nice and early to prepare me for the trials that were to come.

We were all slow risers, Hutson's mom having to initiate the wake up, and a wooden ball launched from Hutson's hand that connected with B-Ho's forehead was needed to finally wake B-Ho.

I immediately set to de-boning the duck, with assistance from B-Ho. The de-boning was incredibly pain-in-the-ass-eriffic. The duck was super-greasy.

I named it Banoub.(Ohhhhhhhhh, BURN!)

Actually, we named it something else, but I can't remember what.

So, after the deboning process, we laid the turkey on top of butcher's string, then put alot of dressing on it. Then we put the duck on top of that, and put more dressing on it. Finally, we put on the chicken and, you guessed it, put dressing on top.

Now came the tricky part. We had to fold the turducken in half without having it fall apart. We pulled that off, and even got two movies of it.
After the turducken went into the oven at 11:55 in the a.m. we were able to relax.

When people started showing up, I felt very protective of the beast. A couple people commented that it looked disgusting, and I was actually hurt.

It was my child, damnit!

But, we ate it, it was delicious, and a good time was had by all!

And I made toutons, which is always good.
